Acie Leon Shehan

Acie Leon Shehan passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025 at his home in Fort Towson, Okla. Born to A.C. Shehan and Mary Taylor on Dec. 29, 1932 in Grant, Okla. Acie’s life was one marked by devotion and service –– an honorable veteran of the U.S. Army, he later parlayed his discipline and meticulous nature into a successful career as a computer programmer at Otis Energy, from which he retired after many dedicated years. His educational journey saw him graduate from high school, complete two years of college, and continuously seek out new knowledge and experiences.

He shared 37 beautiful years with his beloved wife, Delores Gayle Shehan, and was a loving father to his children: the late Melissa Dawn Corbin, Douglas Acie Shehan, Daniel Harold Shehan and his wife, Claire, Darryl Alan Shehan, Laura Marie Berry, Kara Ann Weldon and her husband, Josh, Timmothy Boyd, Andrea Gayle Booth, Donovan Wayne Shehan and his wife, Lynn, Brian Todd Booth and his wife, Billie; his brother, Morris Melvin Shehan, alongside numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, also survives Acie.

Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Acie Shehan. The family plans a private ceremony at a later date.
