Diana Lynne Taylor
Diana Lynne Taylor, who was lovingly known for her kind heart and thoughtful spirit, passed away on Sept. 20, 2026 in Ada, Okla., at the age of 61.
Born on April 8, 1965 in Grand Prairie, Texas, Diana carried with her throughout life the warmth, resilience and grace that would come to define her. She was the daughter of Patsy Eldean Bevill and the late James William Bevill. From an early age, she showed a deep devotion to the people around her, and those who knew her best will remember her as a loving woman whose presence brought comfort and steadiness to her family and friends.
Diana lived a life centered on care for others. She was thoughtful in all that she did, often placing the needs of her loved ones before her own and offering encouragement, patience, and understanding in equal measure. Her kindness was evident in the way she spoke, the way she listened, and the way she made others feel valued. She had a gentle strength that left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Family was at the heart of Diana’s life. She was a devoted mother to her sons: Mark Taylor, William Cole Bevill and James Cameron Bevill, and she took great pride in them throughout her life. Her love for her children was steadfast and unconditional, and she cherished the role of mother above all else. The bonds she shared with her family were a source of joy and meaning, and her memory will continue to live on in the lives she helped shape. Diana will be remembered not only for the love she gave, but also for the quiet dignity with which she lived. She had a way of making ordinary moments feel special, and her thoughtful nature touched many lives in ways both large and small. Her legacy is one of compassion, devotion and enduring love, and those who knew her will carry forward the lessons of her example.
She is survived by her mother, Patsy Eldean Bevill; and her sons: Mark Taylor, William Cole Bevill and James Cameron Bevill. She was preceded in death by her father, James William Bevill. Though her passing leaves a deep sorrow in the hearts of those who loved her, her memory remains a blessing and a source of comfort.
Diana Lynne Taylor’s life was a testament to love, kindness and thoughtfulness. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her family and all who were touched by her gentle spirit.
The family of Diana have entrusted care and services to Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home, Hugo, Okla. A graveside service was held on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026 at Grant Cemetery.
