Floyd Eugene Satterfield, Jr.

Floyd Eugene Satterfield, Jr., of Antlers, Okla., passed away Aug. 12, 2024, at the age of 58.

Floyd Eugene Satterfield, Jr. was born on Nov. 15, 1965 in Talihina, Okla., the son of Floyd Eugene “Gene” Satterfield and Eunella Myrtle (David) Satterfield. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Junior was a lifelong resident of Choctaw County and a graduate of Hugo High School, Class of 1984. He was a welder by trade and a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Junior enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding in Cloudy. He loved being with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Junior loved camping and cooking while at camp. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, but his family will cherish the many memories they made throughout the years.

Junior is survived by his sons: Trace Satterfield of Hugo, Ryne Satterfield and wife of Hugo and Kelton Satterfield of Antlers; daughter, Summer Satterfield of Soper, Okla.; eight grandchildren; brothers: Keith Satterfield of Ardmore, Okla., and Gary Satterfield of Hugo; sisters: Gwen Coffman of Hugo and Teresa Davis of Hugo, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements were under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
