Jerry Lynn Kendrick
Memorial services for Jerry Lynn Kendrick, of Sawyer, Okla., will be at 2 p.m. June 16, 2025 at Christian Family Fellowship in Antlers. Jerry passed away May 30, 2025, at the age of 84.
Jerry Lynn Kendrick was born on May 7, 1941 in Kemp, Texas, the son of Tressie “Ted” Ray Kendrick and Alice (Mitchell) Kendrick. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Keith Walker; previous wives: Edith Ann Kendrick and Dorothy Yvonne Gervais and brothers: William “Bill” Kendrick and Raymond “Ted” Kendrick Jerry lived in Choctaw County most of his life and worked as a driver for Rustin Concrete. He was a member of Christian Family Fellowship and loved his church family. Jerry was a man of deep faith and his love for Jesus was at the core of everything he did. For 30 years, Jerry dedicated himself to prison ministry, sharing the gospel and touching the lives of many who sought redemption and hope. He had worked his land since he was 10 years old and was an avid outdoorsman. Jerry enjoyed fishing and hunting, and his garden became a place of legend. His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren came from far and wide to cherish the time spent with him in his beautiful garden. He played dominoes frequently with his best friends and cousin and was a domino champ, a title he wore with pride.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Charla Fultz; daughters: Gina Jordan and husband, Teresa Kendrick, Jalayne Moss, Tina Menefee and husband, Leah Post and husband, Amber Fultz and Yvonne Kendrick; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and sister, Bennie Baze, along with a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pastor Billy Hunter will officiate the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
