Lou Cheshier Wilkins

Services for Lou Cheshier Wilkins were held Wed., July 29, 2026 in the Boswell Lighthouse. Burial followed the service in the Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Okla. Lou Cheshier Wilkins passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, in Kingston, Okla. Lou was born on April 24,1943 in Boswell, Okla., to Mayola Burkett Cheshier and Allen Bandy Cheshier. She attended school in Boswell until she married and moved to Valliant Okla. After leaving Valliant, Lou moved to Texas where she worked for Dillard’s in Arlington for approximately 15 years in a sales position. In 2004, she moved to Hugo, Okla., for 19 years. In 2023, she relocated to Durant, Okla., where she resided until her death.

Lou is survived by two children, Jeff Glover of Detroit, Texas and Brad Glover of Hugo; sisters: Jean Butler, Judy Wach, Delores Hoover, Connie Skidmore, and Sandra Vicks; and her brothers: Bobby Cheshier, Tony Cheshier, Donald Cheshier, and Anthony Cheshier. She is also survived by five grandchildren, along with several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Greg Glover; mother, Mayola Burkett Cheshier, and father, Allen Cheshier; her sisters: Barbara Gardner and Pat Taylor; her brothers: Burk Cheshier, Howard Cheshier, Ray Cheshier, Allen Cheshier, Larry Cheshier, Chris Cheshier and Ronald Cheshier.

Funeral services will be at The Boswell Lighthouse in Boswell, Okla., on Wednesday, July 29,2026 at 2 p.m. under the direction of Miller and Miller Funeral Home of Hugo. Burial only (no service) will be at Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Okla.
