Virgil Freeman Young
Virgil Freeman Young, age 80, passed from this life on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 at Cornerstone Hospital in Muskogee, Okla. He was born on July 28, 1942 in Hugo, Okla., to Joel Daniel Young and Dorothy (Davidson) Young. Virgil was a U.S. Army veteran and served as a medic/clerk. He was stationed in Germany from 1963 to 1965. Virgil was an avid farmer and rancher in periods of his life. He worked as a welder and real estate agent and was always successful in his endeavors. His most prized occupation was that of father, grandfather and greatgrandfather. He was very successful in that occupation as we all know.
He is preceded in death by JD and Dorothy Young; brother, Charlie; wives: Theresa and Sue Young.
Left here to rejoice his memories and tell his stories along with his jokes are family and friends all over the state of Oklahoma.
Family who will miss him: Daughter, Johanna Collins; son, Guy Young; daughter, Heather Englehart; grandkids: Farron Lira, Nolan Young, Holden Collins, Emily Jimenez, Chad Collins, Micheal Collins, and Austin Collins; great-grandkids: Celeste Lira, Kruz Lira, Priseis Lira, Cougar Collins, Danica Collins, Jaxson Collins.
Virgil we love you, will never forget you.
