Lankford and Mullin split on raising debt ceiling

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Oklahoma’s two United States Senators voted on different sides of last week’s measure to raise the national debt ceiling, after a number of conservative members of Congress opposed the measure.

Senate Leader, Chuck Schumer, fast-tracked the measure through the upper chamber with rules similar to those in the House, where no amendments were allowed.
