Lady Buffs find a spark in McAlester battle

Contributing Writer The Hugo softball team is struggling with their class 3A fast-pitch assignment. They haven’t won a game and have only scored runs against class B teams so far this season. It’s been a “tough road to hoe” for these Lady Buffaloes.

While they lost 17-0 against the 5A McAlester Buffaloes, they showed a spark. They showed progress that could light the way for the rest of the season.
