The Rattan RAMS put on a massive fourth and fifth-inning surge to slam the Dale Pirates 20-10 last week. Keegan Robertson had a big day, slamming not one, but two home runs during the game to lead the RAMS.

BOSWELL — The Hugo Buffaloes saw the ball well in the first inning against Boswell last week, and plated four first-inning runs that turned out to be the difference in the ball game. The Buffaloes put up single runs in the second, third and seventh innings to post a 7-3 win over the Scorpions.

HUGO — The Hugo Buffaloes put a trio of Ws into the 2022 baseball season book since last week, edging out the Kingston Redskins in a very tight game, 3-2 and following that win up with another W over the Calera Bulldogs, 6-5. The Buffaloes returned home Monday to defeat the Valliant Bulldogs in a close game with a seventh-inning unearned run.

HUGO LADY BUFFALO KAYDRIN SCOTT has been named to the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association All-State Team. A four-year starter, Scott led the Buffaloes in several scoring and rebounding categories.

RATTAN — The Rattan RAMS put three wins in the 2022 season book over the weekend with two wins over Kingston and a 12-3 Monday victory over Boswell. Jace May had a five-RBI day against the Scorpions Monday, that included a big home run in the fifth inning.

HUNTER SIMS steps toward home plate and delivers a pitch to an Atoka batter during weekend baseball action. It was one of Sims’ best performances for the Buffalo varsity baseball team, as he stroked three hits, pushing across six RBIs and was also the winning pitcher for the Buffaloes!

HUGO BUFFALO baserunner Cam Holt beats the throw and is SAFE back at second base against the Atoka Wampus Cats. The Buffaloes found their game at the plate and in the field, with a solid 12-3 win over the Cats.

ANTLERS — The Antlers Bearcats put up back-to-back wins over the Hugo Buffaloes at Bearcat Field last week, winning the first encounter by a comfortable 11-1 mark. Antlers scored seven runs in the first three innings to take a commanding, 7-0 lead into the fourth, when Hugo scored its lone run.

RATTAN — The Rattan RAMS chalked up two wins at home in the past week, with solid wins over the Roff Tigers (10-6) and over the Calera Bulldogs (6-4). Against Roff, the RAMS saw the ball well and scattered 15 hits and plated 10 runners.
