Buffalo offense sputters in 30-14 loss

Body
GENE NESBIT STADIUM — The Hugo Buffalo football offense fell prey Friday night to some kind of performance malady... perhaps a football virus, that caused their offense to have a difficult time holding onto the football or throwing it in the right direction.

Barnett pulls in Buffaloes first interception for 2020! GENE NESBIT STADIUM — In the week preceding the Hugo Buffaloes’ opening home game of the season, head coach David Barker said this year’s Buffalo defense is the best he has coached in his 15 years of coaching. The Buffalo defense backed up Coach Barker’s statement Friday night, denying a good Dickson football team access to the Hugo end zone and posting a 22-2 nonconference win.

Buffs ready to open 2020 season!

Body
Hugo football coach David Barker says the Buffaloes are primed and ready to tee it up against his old alma mater — the Dickson Comets — at Gene Nesbit Stadium Friday night. Barker said the Comets will bring a quick and athletic junior quarterback to lead their offense that likes to spread-it-out with as many as five receivers, including one speed-burner, on a play.
LIGE WHITE puts a fierce tackle on a Coalgate ball carrier, forcing a fumble that is pounced on by teammate Tony Perry during the Buffaloes pre-season scrimmage Friday night in Hugo.
