The annual Doaksville Candlelight Tour will be held on Oct. 11-12 at the Doaksville Archaeological Site. Tour will happen every 30 minutes from 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. In commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the establishment of Fort Towson, scenes from this year’s tour will focus on the first 10 years of the fort.

The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation has added Zachary Hettinger, Ph.D., to the faculty of its Aging and Metabolism Research Program. Hettinger joins OMRF as an assistant professor.
