The Wildlife Youth Camp, hosted by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC), is a free and fantastic opportunity for young outdoor enthusiasts aged 14 to 16 to delve into the world of wildlife management. Conducted by experienced game wardens, wildlife and fisheries professionals, and dedicated hunters and anglers, this camp offers an immersive experience into the realm of wildlife and fisheries management and law enforcement.

The Oklahoma Conservation Commission (OCC) has unanimously approved guidelines for the 2026 Conservation Cost Share Program, marking a critical step forward in the state’s environmental efforts. The Program Year runs March 4, 2024, through August 31, 2025 and aims to support local conservation projects with timely completion and funding.

Lucile Morehouse, age 13, is an active 4-H member in Choctaw County. She created a service project that focuses on saving pollinators.
