The Hugo Herd of Thunder Concert Band traveled to Lone Grove Feb. 6 to participate in the SCOBDA (South Central Oklahoma Band Directors Association) Concert Band Contest. They received a 1, which is a Superior Rating from all three judges. This was a huge success for the Herd of Thunder as this was the first contest they have participated in with their new directors and for many members, their first contest to perform in.
