On May 11, The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma (CNO) and the Choctaw Development Fund (CDF) awarded the town of Antlers $23,749 that was used to purchase new playground equipment and mulch to Little People’s Park in Antlers.

The Choctaw Nation Child Nutrition Program is continuing to distribute meals to children across southeastern Oklahoma this summer. “We are pleased to offer multiple opportunities for children to get a nutritious meal this summer,” says Christopher Morgan, Choctaw Nation Nutrition Program Assistant.

A SEMI-TRUCK LOADED WITH BEES wrecked Tuesday morning at approximately 5:45 a.m. at Hwy. 271 and Hwy. 70 bypass ramp, according to Choctaw County Emergency Management Director Pat Collins.
