Eighth St., across from the bypass from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Curbside pickup is available to the very elderly and handicapped only, by calling 580.326.2344 before noon on Thursday, Oct. 21. No hazardous waste allowed, such as paint, batteries, tires, etc. Must have a copy of current city of Hugo water bill.

Fort Towson has officially started the first OSSAA-sanctioned “Esports” team. Esports, short for electronic sports, is a collective term that describes organized competitive video gaming, where individuals use video game consoles, PCs or even mobile phones to play popular video games against other esports teams.

HUGO — Although the mystery surrounding the death or disappearance of Ronnie Odell Davis remains after 44 years, family members are still searching for answers. Davis disappeared 44 years ago in August, after telling family members he was going to “go check on his horses,” south of Swink, in Choctaw County.
