Multiple Choctaw County students recently were honored by the Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture with academic scholarships for the 2021-2022 academic year. The scholarships are part of the more than $1.8 million that students will receive from the college and its academic departments.

Fort Towson has officially started the first OSSAA-sanctioned “Esports” team. Esports, short for electronic sports, is a collective term that describes organized competitive video gaming, where individuals use video game consoles, PCs or even mobile phones to play popular video games against other esports teams.

HUGO — Although the mystery surrounding the death or disappearance of Ronnie Odell Davis remains after 44 years, family members are still searching for answers. Davis disappeared 44 years ago in August, after telling family members he was going to “go check on his horses,” south of Swink, in Choctaw County.
