The Fort Towson elementary 4-H members and their classmates collected 12 gallons of pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Oklahoma City. The fourth grade collected the most with six gallons. The 4-H members are still collecting the pop tabs.

An Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation scientist recently helped discover the first biological link between sugary drinks and neurodevelopmental issues. HUGO — Choctaw County jail records indicate that former Hugo City Manager and State Senator Jeff Rabon, 63, was arrested by Hugo Police last Wednesday and booked into the Choctaw County Jail on several complaints.
