GRANT — The Hugo Chamber of Commerce held its annual banquet for 2025 Thursday at the Choctaw Nation Stage 271 ballroom, lifting up a number of individuals and businesses for their outstanding contributions to the community during the year.

On March 7, Breah Williams was crowned the new Miss Boswell High. She was also awarded the Interview Award for the top interview score. Breah is the 16-year-old junior daughter of Brandis and Annette Williams and Melissa Poore. She is active in FCCLA, cheer, softball and the Choctaw Nation Youth Advisory Board. Her future plans after high school are to attend Murray State College or Langston University to earn a degree in business. She would then like to attend cosmetology school with the hopes of one day opening her own salon.
