Ed Ross Ligon

Ed Ross Ligon passed away peacefully in his home on Dec. 11, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born June 7, 1932, in Comanche, Texas, the son of the Ed Ross, Sr. and Ruth (Bryson) Ligon. After graduating from high school, Ross married his sweetheart, Patsy Karolyn Grey on Nov. 9, 1951 in Comanche, Texas. They soon moved to Fallon, Nev., where Ross worked on a ranch until he was drafted by the U.S. Army. He served two years as a radar opera-tor and then after his discharge he spent one year working for General Motors in Arlington, Texas. He then, along with his father-in-law, Challie Grey, went on a hunt for a ranch in Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. They fell in love with a beautiful place at the foothills of the Ladrone mountain in Magdalena, N.M. Ross put his heart and soul into the ranch and as result won several awards: Salado S.W.C.D. Outstanding Rancher, Bureau of Land Management Riparian Showcase Award and Steward Rancher of The Year.

Floyd Worth Perryman, 80, passed from this life on Dec. 8, 2020 at his home in Hugo, Okla. He was born at All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, on Dec. 26, 1939 to Irene Betts Perryman and Floyd Worth Perryman, Sr. He married Linda Monroe on April 9, 1991 in Hurst, Texas.

Celebration of life for Jimmy Dale Baldwin was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Hugo, Okla., with the Rev. Doug McClure officiating. Burial followed at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo. Jimmy went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020 in Paris, Texas, at the age of 66.
