Arnold Prater passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026 in Denison, Texas, at the age of 72. Born on Nov. 6, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Okla. Arnold’s journey began in the heartland of Oklahoma, where he grew up surrounded by the love and camaraderie of a large family. Arnold’s work at the Rock Crusher north of Hugo was a source of pride, as was his time spent driving trucks across the country with his brothers. His passion for life was evident in his love of working with horses, chickens and goats, and in the care he took of his cattle. He married LuAnna Marie Walker on Sept. 24, 1988 in Hugo.

Funeral services for Jessie Cruse Daniels was held Friday, March 6, 2026 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home. Jessie Daniels, age 36, of Valliant, Okla., passed away March 4, 2026.

Graveside services for Ruby Anna Dillard, of Hugo, Okla., were held March 7, 2026 at Fort Towson Cemetery. Ruby passed away March 1, 2026, at the age of 94.

Sandra Lee (Taylor) Colgin, 78, went to her heavenly home on Feb. 28, 2026, passing in Paris, Texas. She was born on March 28, 1947 in Saginaw, Mich., the daughter of Wilfred Eugene Taylor and Esther Eleanora Frida (Bashans) Taylor. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jim Taylor; sister, Bonnie Bell; and one grandson.

Roger Dale Landis, known affectionately as Roger to his friends and family, passed away peacefully after a hard-fought battle for his health during the last several months on March 6, 2026, in Sherman, Texas. Born on Aug. 14, 1946 in Van Buren, Mo., Roger’s life was a testament to his selfless, friendly and generous spirit.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Scotty Gene Jones of Antlers, Okla., a beloved father, grandfather, son, uncle and friend, who departed this world on March 3, 2026, just shy of his 64th birthday in Paris, Texas, after a long health battle. Born on March 11, 1962, in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nev., Scotty moved to Oklahoma from Nevada in 1971 at the age of 9.

Born on March 12, 1943 in Sweetwater, Texas, Bonnie’s journey through life was marked by her unwavering kindness and the joy she brought to those around her. She was a woman whose presence was a comforting embrace to all who knew her.
