Lyndol Fry, 82, passed away on Jan. 15, 2024 at Choctaw Memorial Hospital in Hugo, Okla.

Graveside services for Katie Belle Boddie, of Calera, Okla., were held on Jan. 18, 2024 at Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Okla.

Shawnita was born on Feb. 23, 1974 in Talihina, Okla., to her proud parents, Floyd (Sonny) and Debbie Hamill of Hugo, Okla. She grew up in Grant, Okla., before the family settled in Hugo. Then she would go on to graduate with honors as the Valedictorian of Hugo High School in 1991, while she was involved in band, cheerleading, academic decathlon, and being captain of the color guard. She then attended college at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Okla., with honors on full scholarship. She graduated four years later in 1995 with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Jewell Boling passed away at 89 years of age in the comfort of her home on Jan. 20, 2024, embraced by the warmth and love of her family.
