Alice Marie Oliver, lovingly known as “Gee Gee,” went to her heavenly home at the age of 86, passing on from this life on Sept. 15, 2026 in Hugo, Okla. She was born on July 30, 1940 in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Richard John Burley and Susan Ann (Shipman) Burley.

Barbara Parker, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 94 at her home. She was born July 10, 1932 in Mountain View, Okla., to loving parents, Verda (McDaniel) and Amon Bond.

Barbara Ann Parris Washburn, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, educator and friend, passed away surrounded by family. Barbara met the love of her life, James “Jim” Washburn, Sr.

Our beloved sister, Harlyn Ruth Redwine Williams went to be with her Lord and Savior on Feb. 18, 2026, age 68 in Dublin, Ohio. She was born Sept. 27, 1957 in Altus, Okla. Our family moved to Hugo, Okla., where Harlyn graduated from high school with the Class of 1975.

Sue Shannon, of Hugo, Okla., passed into eternity on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by the love of her family. Born Opal Alberta Sue to the late Albert Charles Calhoun and Minnie Opal (Taylor) Calhoun on July 13, 1941, in San Angelo, Texas, she was known simply as Sue.
