Between rising costs, few qualified applicants, and a massive federal tax hike scheduled to take effect next year, there are plenty of reasons why there’s quite a bit of “hand wringing” on Main Street.

Constitutional Amendment Would Reform and Replace Oklahoma’s Closed Primaries OKLAHOMA CITY — An initiative petition was filed in Oklahoma City Monday that proposes to reform and replace the state’s current closed primary election system with open primaries. In an open primary, all voters — regardless of party — would be able to vote in a single primary election in which all candidates appear on one ballot. The top two votegetters move on to a general election.
