Oklahoma Corporation Commission Vice Chairman Bob Anthony has released a dissenting opinion regarding the costs of securitization of Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company’s Fuel Cost Recovery from the February 2021 winter storm.

OKLAHOMA — The new 988 Mental Health Lifeline is now available across the state of Oklahoma. The three-digit number offers immediate response during mental health crises by a local trained behavioral health specialist. Any person can call or text 988 if experiencing a mental health emergency, seeking guidance for a mental health situation or looking to gain insight on how to navigate concerns for a friend or loved one.

HUGO — One of Oklahoma’s largest and oldest insurance companies, State Farm Insurance, celebrated its 100th Anniversary on June 7 this year. In support of that milestone anniversary, Hugo Mayor Ernest McCarty has declared June 7 as “State Farm Day in Hugo!” (See proclamation on this page.) Hugo PRCA Rodeo celebrates 60 years This weekend, thousands of people will flock to Hugo for the 60th annual Hugo PRCA Rodeo. The festivities kick off Wednesday at 6 with the overflow events.

The PRCA Rodeo Committee announces that the 60th annual Hugo Rodeo Parade will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 3. All area businesses, churches, homecoming classes, clubs and youth groups and individuals are urged to make plans to enter the parade to compete for cash prize money. The theme this year is “Rocking the 60s,” in honor of the 60th Anniversary. Line up begins at 2 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club
