MOYERS — Since she was 10-years-old, Madison Roe has set her sights on a pretty lofty goal… to become an Olympic Gold Medal wrestler. Last week, she checked off one big milestone on that journey by winning the Regional Championship in her 114-pound weight class.

HUGO — Hugo found itself in an unusual position Friday night, unable to keep up with Silo or effectively stop the Rebels. Silo got out to a three-point lead to start the game and never relinquished it, beating the Buffs, 49-41.

HUGO — Sophomore Pierson Evans stood in the huddle in the kind of emotional turmoil so many athletes know. Hands on his knees, head lowered and eyes on the floor, Evans appeared about as defeated as anyone could be.
