The meeting focused on concerns surrounding the environmental and public health impacts of water permits being issued for commercial use in the region, specifically for a poultry farm and a marijuana grow operation.

The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Foundation proudly hosted the 2024 Best Beef Competition on October 19th during the Annual Stockyards Stampede in Stockyards City, Oklahoma City. The Best Beef Competition featured eight teams, each showcasing their own beef, competing for the coveted titles of Best Beef and the People’s Choice Award.

Choctaw Cultural Center to host halloween stickball with treats

The Choctaw Cultural Center will celebrate Halloween early with a variety of seasonal activities designed around a family-friendly evening of fun for all ages. This weekend will play host to the “2024 Halloween Stickball Game and Trunk or Treat.” Expect to see players wearing costumes (but nothing too scary) in these Exhibition Games.
