Hugo News Sports At the halfway point of the season, the Buffaloes and Lady Buffs are both experiencing changes and growth that could affect their playoff runs. Hugo was back home last week for the first time since winter break, and there were noticeable personnel changes to both teams.

Every decade or so, Hugo Buffalo fans know they are watching an athlete donning the black and gold, who has exceptional talent. They know that talent alone is not enough to take an athlete to top college environs, such as D-1 and maybe even to the Big Show that plays on Sunday.

The Oklahoma Rodeo Pageants Council is announcing major changes to the format for the Miss Rodeo Oklahoma competition scheduled for June 9–12, 2026, in Woodward, Okla. The changes are designed to make the pageant more attractive and affordable to contestants across its four age divisions.
