Oklahoma officials are excited about the recent announcement that the first comprehensive aluminum smelter project in the United States during the past 40 years has been confirmed for Inola, Okla. The project is located near the Tulsa Port of Inola along the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System which will compliment the projects shipping requirements.

Harrison and Elaine Levy have made a $1 million gift to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation to support Alzheimer’s research. To honor that gift, on Wednesday OMRF dedicated the Levy & Ray Family Laboratory for Alzheimer’s Research.
