Oklahomans for Responsible Water Policy will have its annual meeting at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 at Donald W. Reynolds Public Library in Durant, featuring the Choctaw Natural Resources Teams: Tye baker and Ethan Schuth, Sec. of Energy & Environment Ken Wagner, emcee Sen. David Bullard and Choctaw Nation Chief Garry Batton. The speakers will address sound water management for the future.

Celebration of Life services for Shirley Sue Crenshaw will be held Monday, Nov. 1, 2021 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hugo, Okla., with Kyle Cummings officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo. Shirley went to be with her Lord Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021 in Tulsa, Okla., with her family at her side, at the age of 86.
