A man accused of manslaughter in the first degree was found not guilty by a jury of his peers last week in Choctaw County. Official documents state that in January 2024, Tyler Andrew Klaus told investigators that he and his wife had been at his wife’s family home near Hugo for a week when they were told to leave.
The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Joe Clay Harris, age 40, of Boswell, Okla., was sentenced to 56 months in prison for one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and one count of felon in possession of firearm and ammunition.
PUSHMATAHA COUNTY –– The identity of a driver who lost their life in a two-vehicle accident Saturday approximately four miles northwest from Clayton, Okla., has not been released, pending next of kin notification.
