BRYAN COUNTY — Two people were killed and another injured in a head-on collision Thursday night on U.S. Hwy. 70 at Risner Road, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 9:55 p.m. on Feb. 12.

MUSKOGEE — An eight-person federal jury meeting last week in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, found the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Department negligent in the June, 2020 death of Jennifer Diane Crowell, who at the time was incarcerated in the Choctaw County Jail.
