MCALESTER –– The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma (CNO) marked the completion of its McAlester Health Clinic expansion with a ribbon cutting ceremony recently, highlighting a significant investment in access to high-quality, patient-centered care for Choctaw tribal members and the surrounding community.
Staff, Choctaw Nation leadership and McAlester community members gathered to celebrate the opening of the clinic expansion.

Hugo News Sports The second annual Hugo Festival wrapped up Saturday evening after two days of nonstop action inside Simon Parker Gymnasium. The festival was started last year by longtime Hugo coach and alumnus Darnell Shanklin, who said his goal was to begin bringing more teams from different areas into Hugo every season and create a festival and environment that everyone would want to be a part of.
