Wanted Hugo arson suspect caught in Antlers

PUSHMATAHA COUNTY –– A man wanted out of Choctaw County for alleged first-degree arson was arrested last week in Pushmataha County. The suspect, William Devaughn Smith, was located inside a residence near the Antlers Elementary School with a firearm, according to reports.

Birchfield hurls no-hitter against Lumberjax

RATTAN — Rattan’s Cal Birchfield put on a pitching exhibition Saturday leading the RAMS to a 10-0 no-hit shutout over the Wright City Lumberjax. Birchfield allowed no hits, no runs and fanned seven during his six innings on the bump.
