Hugo PRCA Rodeo celebrates 60 years

This weekend, thousands of people will flock to Hugo for the 60th annual Hugo PRCA Rodeo.

The festivities kick off Wednesday at 6 with the overflow events.

Hugo PRCA Rodeo Committee Representative Jim White said they expect anywhere from 320 to 340 contestants this year.

“We’ve lost a few contestant this year, mainly due to diesel and gas prices and such,” he said.
