Burn ban lifted after significant rainfall

As of Monday, Sept. 25, the burn ban that was issued on Sept. 18 has been lifted for residents in Choctaw County.

The board of county commissioners of Choctaw County decided to lift the ban, saying that recent rains have lowered the county’s fire danger.
