City of Hugo Code Enforcement Officer Teshumbe Bills wants to remind local business owners, who have not yet renewed their business licenses, the due date was July 1. Anyone who did not pay by the end of July began accruing late fees in the amount of $10 per month in addition to the $75 renewal fee.

A fairly quiet week of weather is shaping up for eastern Oklahoma with only a 30 to 40% chance of a thunderstorm Wednesday and Thursday, but otherwise partly cloudy. High temperatures in the mid-80s and the nights will be clear with temperatures dropping into the mid-60s. Right now next weekend is looking great with sunshine and 80 degrees, let’s hope that forecast holds.
