IDABEL — Sept. 26 is rapidly approaching and officials at Choctaw Electric Cooperative are making final plans for their 80th Annual meeting… this year’s being held at the Larry Brinkley Center in Isabel.

Lindy Loftin (right), of Hugo, was this week’s winner of the Hugo News Football Contest after choosing 11 out of 13 games correctly. Loftin guessed closest (371) to the Hugo Buffaloes’ total offense figure (350) to edge out Frank Wolf. Right, Loftin collects the $50 weekly prize from Ernest McCarty of Security First National Bank, where he obtained his winning entry blank.
