Kevin Stitt from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Endangered Ark, 2657 E. 2070 Rd. in Hugo. Other invited officials include: Attorney General John O’Connor, Speaker Charles McCall, representative for U.S. Sen. James Lankford, representative for U.S. Rep. Markwayne Mullin, representative for U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe, Sen. David Bullard, Sen. George Burns, Rep. J.J. Humphrey, Rep. Eddy Dempsey, Rep. Kevin McDugle, Rep. Jim Grego, Rep. Tammy Townley, political candidates for State Superintendent, State Treasurer, District 17 Judge and local District Judge.

Hugo man gunned down late Monday, OSBI joins investigation

HUGO — Hugo PD officers were called to the 800 block of West First Street late Monday evening after residents reported “shots fired” in that part of town. According to Hugo Chief of Police, John Mitchell, officers arriving on the scene shortly after the 11:42 call, found 34-year-old Phillip Jones deceased in the front yard.
