June Ellen Adams France passed away on Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, in Hugo, Okla. She was born on Nov. 25, 1941 in Swink, Okla., the daughter of George and Judy B. Adams. June’s life was a testament to her unwavering spirit.

June worked her career at Sears Brand Central in Mesquite, Texas, spanning an impressive 35 years in retail sales. She was a dedicated employee, known for her reliability and warm customer service.

She is survived by her siblings: Melvin Adams and wife Joan of Waco, Texas, Ruth Adams Meyer of Hugo, Okla., Joy Adams Duran of Waco, Alton Adams and his wife, Lisa of Fort Towson, Okla., Teresa Miyamoto and husband, Andy of Honolulu, Hawaii, and several nieces and nephews.

As an avid traveler, June never missed an opportunity to explore new places. Her independence shone brightly when she bought a new car and, true to her nature, wore it out by traversing the country’s highways and byways. She found joy in every mile and shared stories of her travels with anyone who had the pleasure of her company.
