The election recount in Southeast Oklahoma Senate District No. 5 last week, proved that the present voting system we have works very well.
According to each of the county election boards in the five counties served in Sen. Dist. No. 5 (Choctaw, Pushmataha, Atoka, McCurtain, LeFlore), there were zero ballot changes as a result of the recount requested by candidate Justin Jackson.
