Birchfield hurls no-hitter against Lumberjax

RATTAN — Rattan’s Cal Birchfield put on a pitching exhibition Saturday leading the RAMS to a 10-0 no-hit shutout over the Wright City Lumberjax.

Birchfield allowed no hits, no runs and fanned seven during his six innings on the bump. He also tossed in a four-bagger in the first inning to get the scoring started for the RAMS.
