Buffaloes will learn from scrimmage as season opens Friday

Hugo’s coaching staff knew what it was getting into the minute it scheduled Broken Bow for the Buffaloes’ preseason scrimmage.

The Buffs brought in a talented 4A team with a 3-4 defense similar to their own with one thing in mind — identifying weaknesses. And if there’s anyone guaranteed to do just that, it’s a team two classes above you.
