Oklahoma deer testing positive for COVID

The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) has confirmed that a small percentage of early harvested deer in the state have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. A spokesperson for the department stated, “At this time, we do not know how deer contract the virus, but we do know that all of us (vaccinated and unvaccinated) are a potential source of infection to other species.

The Clayton Bulldogs shut down the Soper offense in the second and third quarter to put up an 11-point (36-47) victory over the Red Bears last week. The teams were pretty evenly matched and opened with identical 9-point tallys in the first quarter.
