After an impressive second-place finish in the Oklahoma District 2A-6, the Antlers Bearcats fell to a powerful No. 8-rated Rejoice Christian Eagles 62-0 in the State Playoffs Friday.

Good weather across most of Oklahoma was welcomed by the state’s deer hunters, who turned out in large numbers in search of venison to put into the freezer, a nice wall-hanger... or both.

FORT TOWSON — Rekindling an in-county rivalry that is old as the two schools, the Boswell Scorpions ventured into Tiger territory last week and escaped with two victories on the hardwood. The Lady Scorps cranked up their offense to put up 55 points while holding Fort Towson to 36 points to win the opening contest.

TULSA — Hugo’s season came to an end Friday night in the first round of 2A playoffs. The Buffaloes fell to Cascia Hall, a private school in Tulsa, 55-6 to end their season at 7-4.
