The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) announced it has signed a cooperative agreement with Oklahoma for more than $3 million to increase their purchase of nutritious, local foods for school meal programs.

OKLAHOMA CITY –– Oklahoma veterans and young farmers (45 years of age or younger) can apply for grants up to $10,000 through the Agriculture Enhancement and Diversification Program. Additionally, veterans and young farmers can apply for 0% interest loans if their application exceeds $10,000.
