Burley Sutterfield, a cherished husband, father, and above all a papa, passed away peacefully on Feb. 8, 2025 in Antlers, Okla., at the age of 85. Born Aug. 5, 1939, he lived his life next to his wife Elizabeth for 60 years. He had many jobs over his lifetime, but the papa title was his complete favorite one. He will be forever and always known as one of those people you met one time and never forgot his face. Whether he used his witty comments or a small piece of life advice he would give you, nobody ever walked away after a conversation without a huge smile on their face.

Tamara Leighann (Higgins) Stevens & Kayden Stevens Tamara Leighann (Higgins) Stevens was born on June 19, 1987 in Sherman, Texas. Tamara met Richard Stevens in Atoka, Okla., in December 2013 and together they raised their two wonderful boys.

James Lester Neeland, 80, passed away Jan., 30, 2025. He was born July 30, 1944, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Lester and Theda Neeland. He was raised in Kingfisher, Okla., and graduated from Big Four High School. He served in the National Guard before graduating from Central State College in Edmond, Okla. He married Linda VanHorn and they had two daughters: Lisa and Jennifer. In 1993, he married Jo L. Mabry in Hugo, Okla. This marriage blessed him with a bonus daughter, Donna. He has five grandchildren: Allison, Rachel, James, Matthew and AJ and one great-grandchild, Charlotte.

Joyce Ann Butler, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on Jan. 14, 2025 in Durant, Okla., at the age of 87. Born on March 31, 1937 in Antlers, Okla., Joyce lived a life characterized by her passion, love and kindness to all who knew her.
