Memorial services for Ruthie Mae (Hall) Smith, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Hugo, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Ruthie passed away with her family by her side on Sept. 13, 2024, at the age of 78.

Mary Helen O’Bannon, a cherished matriarch and beacon of love and strength, passed away peacefully on Sept. 20, 2024, at her home in Andrews, Texas, on her 90th birthday.

Georgia E. Boykin, age 89, of Oklahoma City, Okla., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024. She was born in Lone Wolf, Okla., on Sept. 3, 1935 to Dewey and Birdie (Wright) Riley. She married the love of her life, Garland Boykin, in 1951, and they were together until his passing in 2017.

Lajauana G. Milam, a woman of selfless love and gentle optimism, passed away peacefully on Sept. 18, 2024 in Ardmore, Okla., losing her courageous battle to Parkinson’s Disease and Metastatic Breast Cancer.

Graveside services for Billie June Cogburn was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024 at the Sobol Cemetery Pavilion. Billie passed from this life on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, while being cared for by her husband of almost 79 years, Leon Cogburn at their home together.
