Nancy Brandon, of Fort Towson, Okla., was born Feb. 15, 1943 and passed away peacefully from this world on Jan. 5, 2025, at the age of 81. Nancy leaves behind the great love of her life, her husband, Jimmy Brandon, whom she married on Aug. 7, 1961. Together, they embarked on a life filled with mutual respect and unwavering support, a partnership that lasted 63 years.

John L. Gibson, known affectionately as John to his friends and family, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Jan. 18, 2025 in Cleburne, Texas. Born on Sept. 10, 1934 in Fort Towson, Okla., John’s life was marked by his selfless nature and thoughtful spirit, qualities that endeared him to all who knew him.

Daniel is survived by his beloved daughter, Felisha Birdwell; his brother, David Birdwell, and his sisters: Judy Rolfing, Rebecca Birdwell and Jean McIntosh. He is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Birdwell; brother, Billy Birdwell, and his parents: Billy Jack Birdwell and Dolores LaFon.
