“They kill and terrorize their opponents, hoping to silence them. But in this evil we’ve experienced, that Charlie faced, their FLAWED ideology is exposed. By trying to silence Charlie, his voice is now LOUDER THAN EVER!

Today, I voted in favor of a continuing resolution (CR) that largely maintains current funding levels (clean) through November 21, 2025. While CRs are never optimal, given that we need seven Democrat votes to pass any funding bills in the Senate, I believe that passing this CR was our best play for minimizing spending. The other option was a government shutdown. The seven Democrats will want increased spending in certain areas if we go down a path of modifications, and that will lead to greater deficit spending. If we maintain current levels for this next year, it results in a savings of $500 billion over the next 10 years, as it allows inflation to work against typical growth of government year over year.

@piersmorgan “This Charlie Kirk memorial is incredible… if the shooter hoped he would silence his victim’s voice, he was labouring under a massive misapprehension. Charlie’s voice has never resonated louder or more powerfully around America, or the world.”

Hugo News Sports DICKSON — The Hugo Buffaloes beat Dickson, 20-14 in a dramatic last-second win on the road Friday night. Tied at 14 with 16 seconds to go, the Comets were in the red zone with one play left to keep the game from going to overtime when senior Quincy Shelton pulled down the game-winning interception and took it all the way down the field for a touchdown.
