Choctaw Cultural Center to celebrate tanchi at ‘Cornival’

DURANT –– “Cornival” will take a close look at tanchi or corn, the traditional crop basic to a variety of food and medicinal recipes throughout the history of Choctaw people. Activities will include educational presentations, traditional games, social dancing, make-and-take craft projects, and more.
