Funeral services for Edna Boyce (Baker) Dill, of Boswell, Okla., will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2026 at the Boswell gymnasium. Edna passed away June 20, 2026, at the age of 76.
Edna Boyce (Baker) Dill was born on April 12, 1950 in Pinson, Tenn., the daughter of William Clifton Baker and Helen (Kail) Baker. She was preceded in death by her father; son, Gary Dill; sister, Deniece Adsit and brother, Grady Baker.
Edna married her beloved husband, Gwen Dill on Dec. 20, 1967 at The Church of God in Boswell. They have made Boswell their home for more than 38 years. Edna was an LPN and worked for many years at the Veteran’s Nursing Home in Bonham, Texas. She was a member of The Church of God in Boswell, where she loved to sing and play the piano. Edna was a hard worker and enjoyed cooking for her family when she was younger. She also enjoyed quilting, sewing and gardening. Edna loved her family but above all she loved the Lord.
Edna is survived by her husband of 58.5 years, Gwen Dill of the home; daughter, Dana Dill of Antlers, Okla.; her mother, Helen (Kail) Baker of Boswell; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; bonus daughters; brother, Glynn Baker and wife of Ratliff City, Okla.; sisters: Joy Bartlett of Sapulpa, Okla., and Elizabeth Bacon and spouse of Boswell; a daughter-inlaw; a brother-in-law, along with a host of family, friends and loved ones. Interment will follow the service at the Dill Family Cemetery in Boswell with Jason Baker and George Fergueson officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
